My Books
I've spent the past twenty years working as a researcher, science communicator and historian writing and speaking about Big Bang cosmology, its origins in physics, its development both theoretically and experimentally, and the people responsible for its rise as one of the fundamental pillars of modern scientific thought and research. In addition to my books I've written a number of articles for astronomy magazines here and in the U.K., and appeared on or in front of dozens of audiences around the world in person and in online interviews.

Hubble, Humason and the Big Bang: The Race to Uncover the Expanding Universe
This is the story of a misfit scientific duo for the ages, Edwin Hubble and Milton Humason, who worked tireless for 25 years, in the face of personal and professional doubt and competition from others in the field of cosmology, to uncover one of the greatest discoveries in history: the cosmic phenomenon known as the Big Bang.

The Muleskinner and the Stars: The Life and Times of Milton La Salle Humason, Astronomer
The incredible story of one of the most remarkable characters in science. With only a grade school education, Milton Humason rose to become one of astronomy's greatest observers, opening our eyes to the vast reaches of space.
